Today was a good day. Finally raised the money to begin my next journey, more on that later.

As I said earlier it has taken me 63 years to arrive at this juncture in my life. Years of procrastinating have taken their toll, but I am determined that it isn't going to be too late!

What are the consequences of Procrastination:

          • a false sense of wellbeing.
          • a compounding of the 'problem'.
          • missing an opportunity through not taking action.
          • loss of revenue.
          • loss of credibility.
          • loss of confidence.
          • a feeling of impending doom.
          • the dreaded day when it all goes wrong!
I've been through all of those and then some! It's not pleasant, so what can we do about it, what steps can we take to overcome this 'disease':

          • set goals, short, medium, long.
          • strive to achieve your objectives.
          • don't let anything stand in your way.
          • diarise and task your activity
          • strike them off as you complete them. The sense of achievement is amazing.
As you complete your tasks and events and reach your goals, your confidence will come back, your attitude will change and you will regain your sense of worth.

This is your ACTION, the answer is NOW, just GET IT DONE!

As I said earlier, tomorrow I embark on a new journey in my life. After 63 years, breaking the habit of Procrastination is going to be tough, but I'm determined to do it and I hope you will join me on this journey to see how I progress. Until tomorrow ...............................
