Why do today what you don't have to bother doing at all!

'Procraction' is what it's called, get it???? I am finally admitting that I am a procrastinator, and it's taken me 63 years to get here!!

I'll give you some background as to why I think I'm a procrastinator, it doesn't take much analyzing, then I'm going to work my way out of it, hopefully with your help, by living a dream and just 'doing it'.

I hope you'll join me on my journey, and who knows, it may even help you to overcome your procrastination  by joining my bandwagon or living your very own dream.

I have lived a life full of 'tomorrows' most of which I regret, some I know had to be that way, but the regrets far outweigh those of necessity. I know we've all been there at some time in our lives, most people, however get over it, and some, like me, don't and live a life of putting things off.

I have never really been that good with money, those nasty letters that keep arriving etc, I still have some of them 'unopened' in my favourite letter hideaway! It's too late to open them now because my lack of action has resulted in some serious consequences, which could have been avoided by taking action when the issue first arose. All irrelevant now of course, why don't I throw them away? I can't even get the motivation to do that!

On the 23 December 2011 a contract I was working on came to an end. I decided I would 'live my dream' and 'work from home', something I have always dreamed of. Well guess what! 4 months later, I'm still not working. I've looked at numerous opportunities and done my usual;

  • uhmm not bad, I'll look at that tomorrow
  • I could start that, but what if ...........
  • That's good, but I could never do that!Tomorrow!!!!!!
Sound familiar! I'm pretty sick of it now so I have decided to do something about it and this blog is my motivation, my diary, the successes and the failures, everything as it happens, warts and all!

I'm off now to take action on things that need doing TODAY, not tomorrow, Monday, TODAY!

Wish me luck, I'll fill you in tomorrow with more background and how I got on.
